Blog Post Introduction: In this blog post it will be based on joining three course stories to one short story. I will be working on The Yellow Wal-Paper, The Lottery and A Good Man is hard to Find.
Re-Genre Analysis: The morning of June 27th was clear and sunny, with the fresh warmth of a full-summer day; the flowers were blossoming profusely and the grass was richly green. The most beautiful place! It is quite alone, standing well back from the road, quite three miles from the village. The old lady settled herself comfortably, removing her white cotton gloves and putting them up with her purse on the shelf. It was her first time living far from the city with her son Bailey, where she was used to loud noises, buses runing back and forth, children playing on the streets. It was a completely different atmosphere from what she and her son are used to, you barely saw people or heard noises. The neighborhood was so quiet as no one lived there or it was abandoned. As she settled in, she figured it would be even better to explore around her neighborhood and area. So she thought it was going to be a good day for driving, neither too hot nor too cold, so she asked her son to drive her but as they were driving she cautioned Bailey that the speed limit was fifty-five miles an hour and that the patrolmen hid themselves behind billboards and small clumps of trees and sped out after you before you had a chance to slow down. Although she tried to warn her son, he decided not to listen to his mother instead and rather just break the rule. As he was driving recklessly his mother was not feeling herself because of the way the son was driving. She was feeling sick in stomach and she asked her son to slow down, as he tried to slow down, they turned onto the dirt road and the car raced roughly along in a swirl of pink dust and Bailey had no control over to car to slow it down and suddenly they hit the tree. Both Bailey and his mother were in shock, his mother started screaming out "We've had an ACCIDENT!" minutes later the ambulance came to rescue them.

Blog Post Introduction: This blog post would be based on a woman who is mentally ill and taken another home, much like a mental institution. While she is there her room is covered with yellow wallpaper, which she becomes attached to believe someone is there and they need to be free.
Argumentation: The narrator did not have as much life choices to make due to fact that she was ill, pretty much being controlled by her husband and in a way he made choices for her. I believe that she her husband makes choices for her because she in locked in the room with yellow paper where she feels that it needs to be free and it messes her up mentally. Yet her husband makes the decision for her to stay in that room, although that is not what she desires but she does not have much of saying in it. She does it his way, I believe because he is the man and back then women had no saying in nothing they went along with whatever their husband decide. Narration: My senior year in high school, I had to make a very important decision to either go off to university or stay home and attend a community college. It was really hard for me because I was really confused, I wanted a free life but the same time I worried if I could take care of myself and be away from my family. I asked my sisters for their opinion they said it was my choice but as for my mom she discouraged me. She made me feel like it would be the hardest time of my life having to live alone, so that scared me. I then decided to stay home and attend college, after my first year I really regretted it because all my friends were away and my mom controlled everything I did. That was when I decided to move down here. Blog Post Introduction:
In this found poem it would be based on how the Grandmother tried convincing her son to go to Tenesse instead Florida. " Changing Bailey's mind" THE GRANDMOTHER didn't want to go to Florida. She wanted to visit some of her connections in east Tennessee and she was seizing at every chance to change Bailey's mind. "Now look here, Bailey," she said, "see here, read this," "Here this fellow that calls himself The Misfit is aloose from the Federal Pen and headed toward Florida and you read here what it says he did to these people. "The children have been to Florida before," the old lady said. "You all ought to take them somewhere else for a change so they would see different parts of the world and be broad. They never have been to east Tennessee." The second found poem would be based on how the family reacted when the Grandmother tried changing their mind and about the Misfit. " Reaction" Bailey didn't look up from his reading so she wheeled around then and faced the children's mother. The children's mother didn't seem to hear her but the eight-year-old boy, John Wesley, a stocky child with glasses, said, "If you don't want to go to Florida, why dontcha stay at home?" "She wouldn't stay at home to be queen for a day," June Star said without raising her yellow head. "Yes and what would you do if this fellow, The Misfit, caught you?" the grandmother asked. "I'd smack his face," John Wesley said. "Tennessee is just a hillbilly dumping ground," The third found poetry would be how the Grandmother tried to make the Misfit feel good about himself and to make him not harm them. " Praising & Praying" "You wouldn't shoot a lady, would you?" the grandmother said and removed a clean handkerchief from her cuff and began to slap at her eyes with it. "I know you're a good man. You don't look a bit like you have com- mon blood. I know you must come from nice people!" "I would hate to have to," he said. "you shouldn't call yourself The Misfit because I know you're a good man at heart. I can just look at you and tell " The grandmother noticed how thin his shoulder blades were just behind-his hat because she was standing up looking down on him. "Do you ever pray?" she asked."If you would pray," the old lady said, "Jesus would help you." Blog Post Introduction:
This blog post is focused on a man who is a former marine and a dog lover, but his experience changed him and after returning home he saw the world differently. Everything was not the same for him again due to his experience as Marine. Re-Genre Analysis: Sgt. Price did not make the right decision to kill shoot vicar because that is personal dog and he had him for a very long time which makes the dog family. I understand that he sees things differently due to the fact that he has been away for a while and the way he views things is compeletly different. Although when he was in Iran he used to shoot dogs, does not make it okay for him to shoot his own dog aswell. If he had a choice I believe he would have never shooted any of those dogs in Iran because it was metioned in the beginning of the story that he is a dog person. With that being said, he has no right to shoot his dog. Blog Post Introduction:
The focus of this blog is mainly about how the people in the village stoned a memeber to death if they picked the black dotted paper. So this analysis " The Lottery" book. Literary Analysis: One component that is identified as a theme in the story would be hierarchy. The motif in the story would be the black box and how people had to pick out the paper with the black dot. Also the conflict is that people were trying decide whether to still move on with tradition, if it is still a good idea or not. Argumentation: I would say Hazing is a current American tradition that has similarities with The lottery. Hazing is mostly associated with colleges, it is a very dangerous culture or tradition that usually happens most of the time. There are really bad injuries involved as well which could lead to extreme cases. So I would say for Hazing has a lot of similarities with The Lottery. Narration: I made an important choice breaking away from an old friend of mine who I thought was my bestfriend but unfourtunately it was the opposite. It was really hard because we did everthing together, she knew everything about me and I always thought she would be there for me no matter what. The main reason why I had to break away from her was because I trusted her and told her my deepest secrets but she went and told people whereby everyone found out. I was disappointed and she knew I was hurting but she never apologized or even admitted to what she did which really made me upset. So I then realised the best thing for me was to move on with my life and break away from her. Please copy and paste the following bullet points into your blog post and complete the following:
